Grown up on rural football fields and with VHS cassettes in front of the 90s tube tv, Johannes gained his first experience in analogue photography and 8 mm film during his school days. After graduating from high school, he decided to pursue his passion with a Bachelor of Arts degree in "Motion Pictures". During his studies he gained experience as a camera assistant and lighting technician in a film equipment rental company and in various productions. At the same time, he created his own camera work in advertising, documentary and short film. Since then Johannes has realized a number of projects for a variety of clients worldwide and has won the Young Director Award and Montreux with his work behind the camera.
